Brief Background
Joe was raised in St. Charles,Illinois about 65 miles from Chicago. A carpenter by trade he learned Clocksmithing from the owner of a Clock Shop near Chicago where he had done some remodeling work. The owner asked if he would be interested in learning Clock Repair. Joe began working and learning the Clocksmith Trade and stayed there for about 7 years before moving to Wilton, Wisconsin in 1991. He continued doing Carpentry work and went to work for the La Crosse Clock Company. In 2002 Joe opened up his own shop in Wilton. The Country Clocksmith was started and the rest is history!
